Is it illegal to use an already famous name as my Dj/Producer name?

I am not trying to get famous quick by using a famous name. I wanted to use "Spider Pig" as my name because my last name is Hamilton and I thought this would be an awesome/funny producer name. But I don't know if this causes any issues.

EDIT: I've also never heard of a DJ SpiderPig, so you're probably okay.

Unless the name itself is trademarked, go for it. Even the big boys don't do this often. If some big dudes in suits walk up your path weilding baseball bats, its on you.
