Default TP 2 only sending one channel signal to Audio 2

    Hi there,

I played a gig with the following setup two nights ago:

    MBP
    Newly installed TP 2
    Newly purchased Audio 2
    Two MFs Spectras

    No issues on the set.

Now I tried out a new mapping, imported it. Tried it. Works more or less fine. Audio outputs working fine.
I restart the computer and all of a sudden only one deck is sending audio output to Soundcard. First it was only channel A, now after another restart it is only Channel B. Audio settings are

    Output Deck A
    L: 1: Ch A left
    R: 2: Ch A right

    Output Deck B
    L: 3: Ch B left
    L: 4: Ch B right

I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON! Has anyone got an idea?

sorted it out guys, sorry for the panic attack.

just for the record what happened was the following: i still had FX on (even after restart of program), namely echo-freeze on one deck, that must be due to the mapping that i am currently using. gotta fix that.

if anyone has any input though on how it is possible that when you start traktor pro 2 it already has FX switched on even though you have literally not touched anything yet. does it re-store the fx settings from the previous session? shouldnt it start with fx settings on neutral?

Your settings should be monitor 3-4
master 1-2. Im pretty sure? Are you trying to mix externally with a controller?

that is all sorted mate, thanks for your response anyway. mixing externally using MFs for deck control only.

at the moment just trying to find a way to neutralize the FX so they arent restored every time I start Traktor.

Set the effects to whatever you want them to be when you start it up, then click the save icon below the effect number (Highlighted by red ring in pic below).

I will try that robdquick. I take it they will still react to the mappings FX settings when I press the buttons right?

Yes, it just saves whatever values are currently on the screen as the default.
