Default Midi mapping Serato with a DB4.

Could anyone tell me how to midi map a DB4 to Serato? I was thinking that if I could use the midi-shift function, then I could use the loopers as library browsers and to select a track to load.

I'd love to spend as little time touching my computer as possible.
    Cheers

If anyone's interested, I ended up finding out how to do all the mapping.

Step 1 is to make sure your usb is properly connected to the DB4 and into your computer hahaha

    2. Open serato and click the MIDI section at the top right

    3. Open the MIDI panel and you can map each control from there

    4. Switch your DB4 to MIDI SWITCH function and then use the loopers etc to map your settings.

I know have the loopers for scrolling through my library and click then to load each channel.

    All the best!

Traktor uses tsi files for importing mapping settings into Traktor. Does Serato have anything like this? I would be interested in trying out Serato with my DB4.

yes....if you have serato there is a midi folder in your Serato folder. Once you drop in there, it's available as a mapping you can select in the set up options.
