    Default Temp settings with timecode

So I just started using timecode with traktor and am loving it. The amount of control you have over a track is amazing coming from only a kontrol s4 (i use technics 1200's now). However I want to set my tempo settings on my turntables to be at 35% like I had them set on the kontrol s4. Right now the technics only do 8%. How do I do this? Thanks!

You can't adjust the turntable's tempo fader; you'll just have to get turntables that can manage more than 8%.

Or pick up an x session or similar controller with faders....

You can't use the software faders in Timecode mode. So that won't work.

beatmatched blending is only one way of transitioning songs.....just get out of the mindset that everything has to be matched and you'll find that your sets are more creative and you'll be more versatile

Ok Thank you for the info! I'm sure it will be a lot easier now that I have real control over the tracks i'm playing with the vinyl timecodes.

no prob. Sorry if I seem like I went into daddy mode, but I see a lot of people that seem to think that DJ'n is matching n blending when it's really only one of the many ways of doing it. Just a tip, wether you know this or not, the longer you stay at one tempo the more ackward any tempo change feels no matter how well the transition was done

Ok. So I figured it out. I used an x-session pro and set the range to 8%. I start the track via midi, bring the pitch down to negative 8, then choose relative mode while the needle is on the record. Now where every the pitch is on the turntable is referenced as negative 8% starting out which gave me a full pitch range of -24%. This can work in both directions. A video will come soon.
