    Default Intermediate Controller?

    Hello DJTT

My buddy from school has been looking to upgrade his controller (Mixtrack Pro), to a more intermediate controller.
But he is unsure what to get :/

What is your favorite Intermediate controller?

Traktor s4 (for Traktor) would probably be my primary choice!
But I've completely fallen in love with the design of pioneer ddj-sx (for Serato)

Which software does your friend use? What kind of mixing do they do? And what features are most important?

DDJ-SX is a very nice Serato controller if he can afford it.

The Reloop Terminal Mix 2/4 is a very nice intermediate controller that might be more in his price range. The Vestax VCI-380 is a tad on the expensive side, but is extremely functional. The DDJ-SX is large for a controller. IMO if one uses a controller, it should be small and portable, as that is the primary advantage of controllers. The Twitch might not be a bad choice, however it is a little older now.
