    Default Built-In Soundcard, Crackling.

I'm currently using the front headphone port on my box for cuing, and the back speaker port for master out. I'm getting a crackling sound in both.

Is that just a side effect of using my built-in audio? It really sounds like crap.

try raising the latency in your audio software and see if the crackles go away. sometimes you can get electrical interference using a built-in soundcard but that generally sounds like a hum.
We don't believe in the star system. We want the focus to be on the music. If we have to create an image, it must be an artificial image. That combination hides our physicality and also shows our view of the star system. It is not a compromise-daftpunk

Internal sound cards are not made to process the amount of data involved in digital DJ software, so they will, in general, sound like ass.

Up your latency until it goes away and save up for an interface of some kind.
