    Go for Maschine.

Maschine: +bigger pads, compatibility with all NI software, ruggedness, cheaper
    - everything else

Push: +64pads + a load of other buttons and rotaries, 1:1 mapped display, scales in ableton (can use as a keyboard)
    - ain't cheap

depends on your use... for live stuff i would always go with the maschine, you can just finger drum all day on that thing.

Maschine has Live controller templates that can also set scales as well.

Push is surprisingly limited in what controls of Live it has access to so you'll still be using the mouse and looking at the computer screen with it.

Maschine allows you to be completely eliminate the mouse or the need to look at the computer screen from your workflow.

I like the Maschine for Live performance. But for the studio, I like both of them together. Only been a few days but. It compliments me because I use alot of NI products so the maschine can handle that task, while the push doing others. I think i speak for alot of us, when I say Im trying my hardest over the years to make my setup as mouseless as possible

i'd buy a push...if it came with the FULL version of abelton... not going to drop that kind of cash for a slimmed down version of the program when I can spend the same money and get the maschine
