a) Are insured to the hilt

c) Take the liability of every transaction on your behalf, and then chase the sellers down themselves
In the past 10 years I've spent WELL over £10k on eBay (maybe another 5k on PayPal with other sites), and not once have I ever actually been properly ripped off. Don't get me wrong; I've gotten items which were in a bit worse condition than I'd expected, made stupid PEBKAC errors where _I'VE_ ordered the wrong item, and just generally gotten poor quality goods which have broken after less than a year (a £9.99 gas-powered soldering iron springs to mind), but these VERY few "bad" end results are nothing that couldn't have happened at a market or even a cheapo high street store.
The benefits WAY outweigh the risks, in my book
Gundam calms me down. It's therapeutic.
