    Any hub should work, but as with anything it's best to buy something proven with good reviews.

    What interface are you using btw? Looks like an Audio 4 in your setup thread?

    Yerp. Really quite want to get a DJM750 but sadly it's broken with Linux and ALSA at the moment. Hopefully those clever Mixxx/xwax/ALSA chaps will get it working soon though.

    edit: The audio interface is broken that is. The midi is class compliant and thus works flawlessly.

    My Audio 4 works fine through a non-powered hub on my PC, does the Pi have a low powered (below spec?) USB port or something?

    The Pi's is powered by a 5V microUSB, consumes 3.5W (model B that is) and it's USB ports reportedly won't work with devices with a demand over 100 mA.
