    just got this email from beat port...... i don't even know what this crap is, there is really a few main genres but just with different names. sad....

    honestly post-dubstep was one of the least offensive of those.

    Glo-Fi is pretty big in the UK and is one of the few genres names that actually resembles the music that it describes.

    It sounds like another NME coined term for indie bands with a passing interest with neon and glowsticks.

    Yeah it does but it isn't

    It's just slow, lo-fi, Indie with a lot of fuzzy ethereal sounds. Pretty much like the old 'shoe gazing' stuff of the 90's . Definitely not kids and glow-sticks. I think that died out with the Klaxons and the nu-rave indie scene, thankfully.
