Default DJM800, sound color knob doesnt work.

like the title says it doesnt work anymore. well it works but has no adjustment anymore, its kindof stuck in one spot if i hit the color fx, but moving the knob makes no alterations.

    anyone have any ideas?

If you know someone who can fit it, they'll be able to get you a pot for a lot less than £35

the genuine replacement is £35, i know you can get pots cheaper but why fit an inferior one?

Pioneer will be using pots sourced from a big manufacturer like ALPS so there's no reason you can't go straight to the source and avoid the extortionate middle-man prices.

The part number for rotary potentiometer of the "color" function of DJM800 is: DCS1095
You need to have some soldering skills to replace it or have someone do it for you.

You can find the part on our online shop: http://artaudioparts.com/product/dcs...djm700-djm800/
