The Audio 8 has 4 stereo inputs. If your record out plugs into one of them without you having to unplug something else, then you can record your mix in TSP2.

You aren't using the software inputs at all from what I can tell. Route the REC OUT of your mixer to any input on the Audio 8, set say Deck Input D to the input on the Audio 8, then set Mix Recorder source to External: Deck D.
This will have no effect on your Traktor Deck D output.

I always thought the output Deck D and input Deck D were connected somehow... Makar, thanks for saving my life! You really sure about that though? And I should still be able to play a track on Deck D and it won't affect my recording?
Yes, Deck D input and Deck D output remain completely independant unless you activate Timecode Control, or turn on Live Input mode.
