Default Which should I get first?

I'm really gonna try to make a long story short

I'll be getting Ableton Live 9 Standard and plan to be purchasing both the Maschine Mk2 and the Novation Launchkeys 49

My question to you is which should I buy first? The Maschine or the Launchkeys?

Also I dont have any prior piano skills. Should I get the 49 key or a 25 key midi keyboard?

Why not go for the launchpad instead of the launchkey? It's cheaper, it can be used to play traditionally once you get your head around the key locations and patterns, and it can easily act as a basic mixer and clip trigger-er.

If I was going to buy ableton 9 standard, I would start out with launchkeys 49. You can play drums and piano on it and it seems like it's more friendly to ableton starters. 25 keys is ok, but the 45 will last longer in the future. You may want to develop some certain piano skills and then it's always good to have the opportunity to play wide.

You would get it before the Maschine Mk2?

Get the Launchkeys 49 first. I have a 32 key, and it's big enough. I'm not a piano player either, but 25 seems a bit too small. If you are planning to carry it around then get the 25 key if not... go with the 49. Which ever you get it doesn't matter, just preference and for convenience.

Launchkeys bruv. This way you can take time to learn more about getting in touch with your music.

Launchkey would be useless if you don't have ableton yet.
