So lately i've been into IDM and other types of non-house electronic music. do people DJ this? i have yet to see a "local idm dj" though i've seen the big name performers pull off amazing sets. this is going to sound ignorant (sorry!), but do people DJ this stuff? how? is it mostly an Ableton Live set?

There is a lot of "non-house" electronic music out there. You might want to be more specific.
