Default Buying a new laptop for DJing/Production, looking for suggestions.

Waddup DJtechtools? I'm looking to buy a new higher end laptop for production(with Ableton Live) and DJing. Right now I've got an Acer Aspire (i3 duo core 2.26, 4GB DDR3) which i'm pretty happy with but i've come across some money so I think it's time to upgrade. Looking in the range of $1000 but could go up to $1500 if I find something perfect that'll last. I'm sort of out of the loop so I don't really know where to start looking and what companies to go for/avoid. Any suggestions? Oh ya....no macbooks! Allthough they're beautiful machines they're overpriced for what you get. Thanks!
Setup: Kontrol S2, Komplete Audio 6, Maschine Mikro Akai LPD 8, Akai Mpk49, Traktor 2, Ableton Suite 8.

Keep looking. You can find something with similar specs for cheaper. If you can go up to $1500, I would start looking at ultrabooks and hybrids.

I suggest a MBP refurb/used or new if possible.
Mainly because the battery life on them are better than most laptops out there. I know most of the time you'll have it plugged in but it may save your life/career when you forget your charger. My 13" is 4 years old and can hold upto 4hrs just doing light processing but for djing I say a good solid hour.
