Default Looking for webcam & software recommendations for broadcasting a live stream...

So I'm lucky enough to live somewhere that's getting Google Fiber this month, and I want to take advantage of that by setting up a high-quality stream of me DJing and doing a weekly broadcast. I borrowed a friend's Logitech C920 and set up a test stream on twitch.tv using Flash Media Live Encoder... no prior experience though so I'm not sure if I'm really doing this right.

Does anyone who has more experience doing live streams have recommendations for a webcam, software, & which site to stream on?

I saw a couple older threads about this but wanted to see what people recommend now. Any other advice related to streaming video is welcome... thanks!

Isn't twitch tv for gamers? I recommend using ustream.

Yeah twitch is definitely designed for gamers, I started with that because some of my friends use it to broadcast Dota games. Will give ustream a look!

Thats who i use. No need for software as they have all encoders built into their site. instantly recognises your sound card and camera. Just make sure you have a decent internet connection.

It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
