    Default Engaging Modes, Play Disabled

I'm not sure what I have done here, but for some reason my play buttons don't work and when I load a track and just touch the platter the track starts playing. The play buttons will not stop the track from playing.

Please tell me it is a simple solution. Thanks.

Dumb question, but how or what mode section? Plus, I have tried hitting the juggle button to change it but nothing happens.

    **UPDATE**
I rebooted the laptop and reset the firmware on the vci. This seems to have solved my problem.

thats not what would have been required. There are 2 ways to engage juggle modes. I recommend you watch the vci-100SE videos, that will explain how to turn juggle mode off or on.

I have watched all the videos related to the vci-100se. I'm just posting what I did to resolve my problem. Whether it is necessary or not to this forum is not relevant to my situation when I have corrected the problem on my own.

Having said that, thanks for the advice not just on this post but all advice you have shared with djtechtools members and the internet at large.

No problem, its important that people dont think they have to re-boot their vci-100s to get certain functions to work. Did you get the modes sorted out? I would be curious if you engage juggle mode and that creates the same effect you had before.

Yes, thanks Ean, I did get the modes sorted and I was able to repeat the same effect. I'm still not sure how I ended up in Juggle mode the first time since I hadn't tried the feature at the time this occurred. I understand the juggle mode now and it will be exciting for me to learn how to incorporate this into my dj sets with out going over board on "trickery".
