    Default making a track list

    so here is the question.. when you make a mix how do you create your tracklist? do you first look for tracks that need to be in it and then try to find a good way to mix them or do you mix and remember good transitions and use them later on?

    Theres no real set way of doing it. I do both the methods you mentioned above. I normally will make a playlist with 50 or so songs that are bangers or something I would play to a crowd, then I go in and find similar drum grooves and synth arrangement to mix into.

    I will also tend to use certain mix ins that I have used already because they are flawless and work perfectly
