Default FL Studio 20 will not recognize Midi Fighter 3D??

    Hey yall,

I've had a Midi Fighter 3D for a while now, and haven't used it in about a year. Recently I tried getting it to work with FL Studio 20 but to no avail.
I've opened it with MF Utility and imported the FL Studio .mfs file, and it works fine with FL closed. Lights turn on, I can remap the colours, and the buttons light up when I press them like they should.

However, when I try to open FL20, all of the lights turn off and are unresponsive to presses. I have it selected in the MIDI settings, I've put FL into performance mode, and I've created an FPC to try and map the buttons to trigger sounds, but nothing will get a response out of the controller. The only thing that happens is that when I press the last rectangular bank button, a 4x4 section of the measures will be outlined in red, which moves to a different 4x4 grid when I press any of the note buttons.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!!

(p.s. I would love to use the Midi Fighter only as a drum pad, so any help in that direction would be appreciated)

Are you using Windows based computer mate?
And if that's so. Did you close MF Utility before opening the FL Studio?

    Yes, I am using a Windows 10.
I also have MF Utility closed when I open FL; when I leave it open, it shows a failed connection in the MIDI settings, but the lights stay on. So it seems to be an issue when the Midi Fighter actually connects to FL?

Thanks for the update. If the Midifighter Utility recognizes the hardware than the FL Studio should also see the midifighter.

Are you able to see MF3D under MIDI Input/Output devices in FL?

Yes, unless it should look like something other than this.
