Default Interesting ways of using a launchpad with Traktor (or other pad based midi controlle

    Hi guys.

So I have decided to sell my Kontrol S2 and I want to create an interesting DJ set up with my Launchpad running on my Macbook Pro. I also have an iPad Mini too.

I know there are some cool mappings for the Launchpad to use with Traktor but I have been out of the loop for a while so I am not sure if anything new and innovative has come out.

Could anyone suggest any interesting ways to use the Launchpad with Traktor?

Do you have something similar to the S2 to handle basic mixer and FX functions? Operating Traktor purely on a pad-based controller isn't exactly ideal.

So you'll have a basic mixer to use at home?

you will need an audio interface, i can only assume you are only going to be using 2channels?
the search button/google/wherever will find a million threads and reviews on two channel audio interface's

There's some great mappings on this site, I use my launchpad all the time, with a mixer to dj, you might be able to use a f1 or faderfox or something with faders/knobs for a really small set-up.

Xone K2 that is what I use with my launchpad. I use this mapping with my launchpad because it gives me full functionality for traktor along with my custom K2 mapping if you want a copy of that mapping to see how it would work I'm willing to send it to you.
