    Default static popping sounds wont stop tried almost everything help !!

    i keep getting this static popping noise when im mixing im running a samsung series 7 chronos quad core i7 with 8gb ram with windows 8 with traktor pro 2 with an s4 kontrol please help give me like a list of things that can cause this

    Is it popping at random, or is it coinciding with an action in the software or hardware? I'd start by making sure your speakers are good, then check your cables.

    What's your latency set to? Also based on what jakeintox asked, are you sure you're not over-driving the input or clipping anywhere in your chain?

    what does over driving input or clipping mean lol and my latency is set to 512 16.2
