As someone suggested, before washing or drycleaning, try freezing it.
Or order some ln2 (it's frickin cheap) and put it in a bath of it, then cover it with styrofoam.

Baking soda. Go buy a massive box of baking soda, empty it into the offending compartment and leave it for a week or two. Really pack that baking soda in there.

IF THAT DOESN'T WORK: Take more (fresh baking soda) and mix it with equal parts Pinesol and Hydrogen Peroxide. You want it to be like a very wet paste. Work the paste into the (still) offending compartment and leave to dry. Then vacuum it out. Unfortunately, as it's a bag, you'll likely have some residual powder left in the compartment for a good while to come. It will eventually sort itself out.

Don't ask me how I know all this shit.

This is the funniest thread in a long time. The more it goes on the less funny it will become (let's face it someone will fall out with someone else). It's a classic, lets preserve it for future generations.
