    Default Key Detection Selection Tool

Why doesn't Traktor add a feature that automatically highlights the tracks in your collection/playlists that match the key of the track that's playing? Would be easy in 2 deck mode.

It could be toggled on and off.

If you were mixing more than 2 decks it could color code the decks playing. DECK A would highlight matching tracks in green and DECK B would highlight in red, Deck C in yellow, etc.

how hard is it really? if you set traktor to show key in open key it's a matter of 2m=2m or 2m->2d 2m->1m 2m->3m and to move a 5th it's +-7 so 2m->9m or 2m->7m

    Wow That's so easy.

C'mon man. And should use an abacus instead of a calculator.

OKAY. I get it. It is easy. Sorry. Delete thread.

But I bet Traktor does release this feature in the future.

Nah. It's the circle of fifths dude! Each step is a fifth. Moving seven steps = a semitone, the most discordant clash possible (although if you slam across a +7, you quickly go up a semitone, aka. the Stock, Aitken and Waterman effect).

yes you are right was sleepy when I wroth that but semitone mixing aka +-7 is not meant for blending but cut mixing to get an energy boost.
A lot of rock songs or even 80's pop song do this at the end of a song repeating the last chorus but moving it up 1 semitone
