    Default DIY CDJ stands

Anyone done some CDJ stands themselves or out of IKEA parts? Getting some new behringer cmd controllers so I could use the space to put the CDJs above the LC-1s I'll have.

Bunch of people have. Use capita legs, the search function or lifehackers.com.

I think there's a few threads floating around about ikea mods, but I'm at work, so no time to search the forum for you. Sorry.

I've looked at them all but no good solutions - not sure what exactly you would attach to the capita legs too other than having to cut wood (and I'm hoping for an easier solution than that). Hardly anyone actually makes those angled cdj stands with their ikea creations so far that I've seen. There was one good one that had a shoe shelf attached to a standing leg but it went across the whole desk. Actually, I might do what they did if I can find a shelf that is much narrower - or cut that one somehow.

Check out the modular "STOLMEN" stuff at IKEA:

A couple of chopped up STOLMEN posts, and a couple of STOLMEN shoe racks would make GREAT CDJ stands.

I have never seen TT placed in that way before. This sort of a lefty way instead of normal battle mode?

This is exactly what I am thinking of doing though unless there is some ok price alternative that means less work.

That one caught my eye the most but it would involve having to cut the shoe rack, as ideally I would have one stand on the left side of my mixer (hopefully the shelf can be supported with just one post if its just one cdj on it) and two on the other side (likely one post on each end as in the photo. Underneath the stands I'd like to put my other controllers, as how the turntables are set up in the pic above

21 inches is pretty damn wide for 1 cdj 400 haha
