Exclamation Breaks - Intensity Ripple (Psy/Tech/Progressive Funk)

So I've decided to make this mix public now. It's something I've been handing out on CD's, and it's something very different and still breaks focused. A little psy/tech funk with some progressive flavor, and it's personally one of my favorite mixes that I've recorded. This is something that you don't hear people play. This is a style I wish I heard more of. It's not a banger mix, it's not a booty mix, it's one of those mixes that has a time and a place, and I hope you enjoy it

Awesome! Looking forward to hearing what you think. This is the stuff I've really been getting into a lot on my own time. I dig for breaks allllll the time, but this stuff just has that certain vibe that I really really enjoy. It's almost a cross behind the old school crystal method kind of vibe and big beat stuff, and then bringing a modern twist on it while still being able to maintain that pounding energy level

Nice mix, I don't play psy breaks but do enjoy it when I go out. That's a good mix for a promo CD as plenty of tracks mixed in. Some nice breaks in between with airy stuff before the banging tracks. Cool stuff dude.

I'm surprised there isn't that much of this stuff being played out. It's great for the dancefloor.

Thanks a ton I really like mixing a lot of this stuff into my normal more "energetic" breaks sets to bring it back, but it's really a nice treat to sit down and do a full set with it. I wish I heard more of this kind of stuff out, breaks are one of those things that while popular, not a lot of DJ's are focusing on lately. Which is a shame. But the breaks community? Priceless.

    Hey man,

Great mix! Just listened to the whole thing. Pretty funky and unique. Never heard of psy breaks before but i dig it! Just heard psy trance a couple weeks ago at EDC and thought it was pretty dirty.
