Default MIDI sampler open software vs. arcade joystick

    Hello,

I have an idea that could work. I have an arcade joystick that was custom built with full sanwa parts and i wanted to use it as a MIDI sampler. It would be using the 6 face button as drumpads and using the d-pad to change banks so potentially it would be like 24 different samples. Even use select/start for fx or whatever. I tried to search online but the results came up to be with little information and were not too specific on its features. Maybe something free/open source that is not pre-coded to a specific piece of equipment would work here.

    Any ideas?

Are you using PC or Mac ? That will have a heavy influence on what software you use to accomplish this.

    Thx for the reply.

Mainly Mac. But PC is also welcome since I have the MB with BootCamp and my main computer at home is a PC.

    Cheers.

Shameless selfbump for prosperity. I'm still interested in this.

Also any good program to remove the music of an mp3 and just leave the vocals and viceversa?
