    Yeah i agree the use of the effects was a bit over the top, but other than that it was pretty decent.

    ok ok, maybe I overdid it with the flanger, but at THAT time, I'd only been dj'ing for 3 months - I was still a noOb.

    Do you guys use effects when switching from track to track?

    I use some. I'm a fan of the bandpass filter, myself. I use the Flanger to detune the shit out of something for creative effect, makes a really interesting tension on really smooth harmonies.

    But the only effects I really use are

    Beatmasher
    Bandpass filter
    Flanger

    *shrug*

    yeah, i remeber the feeling of wanting to touch the knobs ALL THE TIME! well sometimes i filter one track out, or echo one out or freeze one out etc. but definatley not everytime
