Its nothing new that beatport is expensive. so I gotta look for ways to get most for my money and it seem like google play is one good alternative.

Google Play is great, but the quality just isn't there sometimes. Still use it though.

sorry alllday. I think google play just started to attempt to diversify their store. Stuff still come on there way later than on beatport though. i dont mind the wait when I can save money.

I'd spend money on other premium DJ sites such as djcity, crooklyn clan for better response from the crowds as a dj.

dj city n such makes sense if you are a working dj and you play a lot. This was more to question the point of artist / dj charts on beatport which cost like a lot for nothing when a lil diggin you can find similar or better stuff.
fortunately, soundcloud and the occasional online purchase is doin it for me for now

Yeah, I guess compared to iTunes, Google Play, etc Beatport can be "expensive", but as an old-school DJ used to spending around $15 on a 12" single that I'd play one side of.. ~$2 per track still just seems so cheap.
