Default Suggestion in buying equipment for starting DJ.

Hello guys this is my first post in this forum, im wanting to start a career as a DJ, i was thinking in Buying a Traktor S4 with the X1mk and the midi fighter 3d but seen that the s4 is like out of stock and it seems that something new is coming out, im not sure what to do if start with an s2... or wait to see what NI is going to launch...Any suggestion in where i should start in the learning process would be greatly appreciated.

    Greeting from Colombia.

    Joel.

    Pioneer XDJ-R1.

    Done.

If I was buying again, that is what I would buy in a heartbeat.

Learn Traktor on the keyboard first. Without a controller. Once you master that, buy a cheap used controller (like a Numark Mixtrack Pro) then try mapping some custom functions. If you're still into it at this point, step up to something better.

A good DJ knows the software inside out and can throw down on any platform.

i'd say VDJ is much more easier to get into keyboarding than Traktor AND it has a free home version aswell

I'd agree with this, it's basically a single device that will train you how to DJ on anything except vinyl for $900.
