Default Technics 1300 mk2, is it good for djing?

I found one for $125 in working condition (with needle I assume).

Ed. so it has buttons for pitching, are they worthwhile for beatmatching or very frustrating?

Nah...unless you're DJ'n a 60's radio station, I'd steer clear. Quality table, just not too sweet for mixin.

i'm happy though, found a 1200 mk2 for 150 dollars with arm and stylus.

ed. soon it will be time to start testing out that ghetto timecode setup baby! (reminds me I need to buy the tsp vinyl) anyone know of any good places to get it for cheap?

damn that's a good deal! where did you find it?

i bought my timecode vinyls off of ebay, got 2 for 30. i searched around and found it's about $15/each for the cheapest. but as a plus you only have to buy them once or twice over a long period of time. hopefully someone has the hookups on them somewhere.

(i didn't even notice it was you who made this thread until now :P)
