Default Denon Mixer X1600 Vs Pioneer DJM-850 which one has better or more attractive FX

I would like to hear the opinion that there is out there in the DJ world about which one of this two mixer has the prefer choice of FX. Reason being that I'm looking for a Hybrid mixer so I can use with traktor, by Hybrid I mean I can use it with/without the traktor software but it most have it own Fx. not like the traktor z2 which is very limited by itself. To be honest I believe the Denon offer one of the more crutial thing that I'm looking for and that is the capability to control traktor FX when use in midi mode. If I go with the DJM-850 I would have to get some thing like the X1 to make my work flow as I would like. So what is you opinion.

oh holy god get the 850....I have the x1600 and honestly the FX are sub-par at best. 850 has a real filter, nuff said. Even if you don't enjoy pio FX, they are a step above the x1600.

Some people have had trouble with the DN-X1600 sound card so that's something you might want to consider.

So it appears that I should go with the DJM-850 plus the X1 then. I like the midi capability of the Denon but right now the X1 will put me up there with all the new traktor upgrades. So my setup will be SC3900+X1+DJM-850+F1+SC390 after I get done buying. Thank for the Help in making a decision.

I would tend to agree. Apart from the effects section however, these two mixers have virtually identical features in all respects, except some more midi functionality on the denon.

No dedicated filter knobs. My pet peeve with the x1600. The FX were so bland on the x1600 I've mapped my entire x1600 (including the vue meters) for internal mixing...and I hate traktor's FX and how they need to be controlled/modulated. Pio is much more intuitive I think. I just can't afford a pio mixer right now.
