Default My IKEA unit and a little something extra...

Posted this on another forum and thought I would share it with you guys

As for the little something extra.... I wanted to spice up my DJ corner, and after exploring different options with LEDs and EL lighting, I came across this large EL equalizer strip that responds to sound. It doesn't look very cool during the day but it is an attention-grabber at night when practicing. Nothing that crazy but it was a cheap, fun addition to the set up.

Happy to answer any questions about the set-up you all may have!

I had to purchase it from a wholesaler in China because I couldn't find the thing stateside. The plus is that it was really cheap, although shipping took nearly a month

You're also going to need an AC to DC converter. I think I bought this one:

Someone messaged me about the part list, so I though I would post it up here as well:

    Expedit 2x2 base:

The lower table is this guy:

    Upper shelf here:

Legs to attach expedit to bottom shelf (you will have to buy 4 3/8x3" hex bolts and washers at a hardware store to attach the legs to the expedit unit, because the regular bolts are not long enough). You will need 2 packs (4 legs in total):

Here's a picture someone posted of the longer hex bolts drilled into the expedit unit:

Legs to attach to top shelf:
