yeah, its like you need a condition on the reset tempo that says 'if deck # is synced, don't do this'. traktor doesn't natively let u pick that, but it's possible to do, using some pretty crazy modifier magics.

what is the button you use for sync? is it the same button for deck A and deck C?

    Button A Sync Ch01.Note.D#0
    Button C Sync Ch03.Note.D#0

    Button B Sync Ch02.Note.D#0
    Button D Sync Ch04.Note.D#0

I can see now why all you mapping ninjas are complaining about there only being 8 modifiers available!!!

i played around with switching timecode on synced tracks, and the sync doesn't turn off. in fact if it is out of phase when you switch it slows the record til it catches up to the master track.

is that what u are getting?

Nice! I'm working on a combined mapping for MC-1000 and Novation Divers. 4 Deck mixing, with the timecode control of decks a/c and b/d dependant on that toggle switch AND the Dicers controlling the SAME deck as selected with the toggle.

Really hope you can help me with that timezone toggle, trux!

i'll keep ya posted mate. my mapping has some advanced looping controls, pan, key adjust, flux mode, access to more hotcues, and a more advanced way to do armyofme's drama fx + freeze echo. should be pretty cool

Sounds fantastic. Hotcues are actually something that I removed from the stock MC-1000 mapping - it's freed up 3 buttons on each side of the controller for other stuff...

Pat, you need to clear out some of your PM messages. I sent you one the other day about VM's but I got an error saying your box was full.

Thanks for the heads-up, synthet1c - consider it done.

And feel free to re-PM me...
