Default Traktor Scrobbler v1 - Tweet your currently played tracks

Since Twitter DJ is MacOS only, I created a tool which does the same for Windows.

This is the initial release which is quite limited. Others will follow containing stuff like ping.fm support.

Fantastic man! I personally never use the internet when DJing but this is still sweet.

Heh, good job - just hacked mine together in python. Manual updates for now, couldn't be arsed diving in it much more I'll post the source if there's any interest...
Looks like you'll have a bit of fun implementing OAuth support - but hey they're keeping basic auth for now so, no rush !

OAuth won't be much of a hassle.

Had this tool in a drawer for quite some time not wanting to spend time on emulating a whole IceCast server (think cost-benefit).
Now that they released Twitter DJ I was disappointed, that they don't do it either, so it was time to release the app.

Thank you very much for this, if you need beta testers for future releases, i would love to help. I'm glad this will give an opportunity for pc users to tweet their playlist but as well keeping tracks of records they are playing live... so the publishing money goes to the right artists and not simply shipped to some top of the charts dinosaurs... madonna etc...!

    Released Version 2.

    New stuff:
    * Emulates IceCast-Server (no Icecast needed anymore)
    * Added option to determine track-data from an already running Icecast-Server
