Ableton live 9

I have just installed Ableton Live 9 Suite, i have never owned a copy of Ableton before but when i got to plugins theirs nothing in there?

Does Ableton live 9 suite come with plugins? Or do i have to download them?

Ableton's native plugins are not in the plugin folder, thats for third party plugins.

Not sure of 9 as I'm on 8 but just use the browser in ableton to find them.

Like amadeus posted, the plugins-folder contains the third party plugins.

In Live 9, the native plugins can be found in the Browser under the following categories:
Instruments, Audio Effects, Midi Effects and Max for Live.

Additional packs, which are included in Live Suite, can be downloaded from your account-area (when you go to the Ableton webpage and login with your account).

By the way, the manual can be found via the menu Help -> Live Manual.
