Default Anyone ever shorten their Chroma Caps?

I have a controller with short pots and I was wondering if anyone has sanded down their knobs to make them shorter. I was thinking of using some uber fine grit wet sandpaper.

just put some blutac in them to make the hole shorter and provide a little more stickyness, If your prepared to only ever use them on one controller use some super glue, I think you guys call it crazy glue and some cardboard wadding to fill in the space.

I was considering shoving something up in them to fill the gap. I think I read someone using bits of rolling paper. But I think I would rather just shorten them. Oh well. I'll just sand one down and report back how it goes.
