    On second listening, the two videos you linked aren't even in the same key.

    Different key and different note progression, very different rhythm. It seems downward minor arpeggios seem to suit the genre.

    What's with the sudden surge in Shiba meme spouting anyway?

    One is syncopated, one has shorter plucked notes, but they sound pretty much identical to me.
