    I love my DJM T1.
I've never really thought there was any competition between the two, but everyone seems to think the Z2 is brilliant?

That's because it is mate. Who needs a big convoluted effects section anyways? Give me some hardware filters with a delay on one side and reverb on the other. Gravy.

The Z2 uses software filters when used with Traktor. Useful FX techniques like Delay Freeze are impossible with a single FX knob.

Mapping the parameters to one knob, or even using both (2) is more than easy. Also the filters are capable of working as a standalone effect.

You wouldn't have to do any mapping with the T1.

How can you claim that full effects control is convoluted? The only reason they didn't include full fx control on the Z2 is to make sure you buy an X1.

And if you're looking for a filter on the T1, just use the filter effect.

This thread has already been written and discussed at length... http://forum.djtechtools.com/showthread.php?t=58984. Usb hub, innofaders, better cue buttons, make your own decision. But I definitely wouldn't buy an s4.

i've never touched a T1, but i really enjoy using my Z2. If you have an X1 already and the Z2 is cheaper, a Z2 would make sense.
