I don't see anything new!!

I was hoping for some kind of usb slot to use it for playing MP3s (like Traktor Scratch, Serato etc) rather than having to drag out my laptop as well as being able to use for 'real' vinyl. Pioneer have the software in their CDJs so why not.

However, we don't know whats inside or what connections are in the back so we can speculate or wait and see.!!

I was talking about mojaxx's review.. 'the photo is has most of the same parts as SuperOEM's so I'd say it a pretty safe bet that it is one..

Except a regular generic super OEM is unlikely to be picked up by a club for installs and even less likely to get any love by "real" dj's - now they can safely say they are using industry standard gear again.

Purely out of interest, what puts you off the various Super OEM turntables out there? Thinking along the lines of the Stanton ST/STR150, or for a more familiar (1200) look the Reloop RP6000. Or for a modern take on the turntable, the midi-enabled Reloop RP7000.

I'm not trying to stir or anything like that (I am myself a Technics lover) but I'm just genuinely interested- as if I wanted a 'proper modern turntable' I'd be looking at the 3 I mentioned above

Unless Pioneer do something truly groundbreaking with these tables (which doesn't seem apparent from the prototype photo but is entirely possible) I can't see how these are going to be superior in any way to best of the Super OEMs, and I'd certainly wager they will cost more!
