    Default Routing audio from ableton through mixer then recording back into ableton

    Hey does anyone know if theres a way to route audio from ableton, through a djm900 nexus (using effects) out through master on mixer back to mic input on computer too record the mixers effects on samples albeton?

    I have set it up and when i record back into ableton the sound quality is really bad i can only just hear it, im assuming if i bought a soundcard this may fix my issue can anyone help?

    If you can run the stereo mix into an interface you should be fine

    You can do it all through the mixer. Use the DJM-900 setup utility software to send your Ableton output to whatever channels you want, then have the Rec output from the mixer going into another track in Ableton.

    Works very similar as recording in Traktor w a 900 in case you want to reference some tutorials on YouTube. Like someone already said, it can all be done internally thru the mixer
