Default Add on to VCI SE for 4 deck control?

I know this has been asked before but i never really came across a perfect add on to my VCI 100 SE for four deck control? I don't really feel comfortable switching back and fourth within the software when mixing with four decks. I feel like my skill is up to par with 4 deck mixing but all i need is a good add on controller.

I basically want to be able to control all the functions of deck C & D under my finger tips. Also small jogs would be useful. It also should be well built and sence its only an add on, not too expensive.

As for beat juggling it doesnt necessarily need to be designed for this, I might just leave all that to the midi-fighter when they are available...So any good controllers out there???

I was thinking maybe the vcm-100 but wasnt really sure??

You can just program the VCI for 4 deck control

I'm looking for an add on controller so that I dont need to switch between the decks. I want all hands on control for all of the decks.

Fair enough. It's just a hard choice to make if you want jog wheels.

I would say get a small MIDI keyboard, if it doesn't need to be designed like the VCI-100, or get a pad controller like the MPD32 or the Kaoss Pad. The MPD32 would probably give you all the controls you need for an extra two decks.

It would be cool haha, but probally going to look for something a little different. Do you think the vcm 100 would do the job?? But this has a sound card in it. Would that create any problems?

You can use the VCM-100 as your soundcard.

Man my suggestion is a bit diferent but maybe you may consider it.

To control 4 decks you donīt need another controller you need a proper mixer. So my suggestion would be... buy an external mixer so you have the proper layout for 4 deck mixing, and just use the vci to control the decks and effects.
All your trouble with infinite knobs and faders will dissapear. You will have an excess of knobs now to map as you will.
So in simple terms you can duplicate your vci deck controls without issues. Map a button to assign a modifyer so basically you have one vci for deck A and B and another one for deck C and B.

Just another point of view for solving the same issue.

The advantage with this approach is that you will be playing with a "real scenario" setup. I mean if you play in club the most reasonable thing to do is use the house mixer. Instead of hooking two controllers on 1 sq meter.

    Cheers!
