Default How To Digital DJ Scratching? Need Help!!

    Hello everybody!
First of all, sorry for my bad english.

I've been making hip hop beats for about 1 year and finally got some money to start practice DJing.
Last week I bought an used Technics SH-EX1200 mixer and gonna buy a pair of Technics SL1200 MK2 after selling a couple of things. I already have a RME Babyface audio interface too.

    My doubts:

1 - Can I use this mixer and interface for digital djing?
2 - Which software and timecode can I use with my setup?
3 - Is there something important I should know?

I'm really LOST, didn't found the answer for my questions anywhere.

    Thanks for the patience

I don't believe that mixer can be used as an audio interface for DVS, so you'll need to buy a Serato or Traktor (there are other DVS systems out there, but these are the most popular) certified soundcard to plug the mixer and your laptop into.

Make sure you have a beefy laptop so as to avoid any potential latency issues with digital djing, especially with hip hop and scratching IMO.
    2 x Technics 1210 MKII, Pioneer-DJM 900 Nexus, Traktor Scratch Pro, NI F1,
Ableton Live 9.6 Suite, Ableton Push, Studio One 3, Moog Sub37, Roland Alpha Juno 2, Korg MS-20 Mini, Yamaha TG-77, TR-8, Rhodes MKI Stage, Wurlitzer 200a, couple pedals, couple amps, lots of software and a freakin iPad
