    Default Best in both worlds

I have, in my small studio a desktop and in the main room the laptop, that I have to share with my honey.
When I go for a gig, I use my laptop, but I use my desktop to practice and to do my prep. The problem for me is to keep those on the same page. When I tranfer from one to the other, respecting native guidline.... Well I loose infos; mapping, remix sets, tracks, etc... A suprise every time!
    My question:
Would it be possible to install Traktor itself on my harddisc, not the rooth directory only, so I can use the program, has is on both computer.
Keep in mind, I'm not a pro in computer. The awnser is probably no...
Still need to find a solution.
Budget wise, another year before I can buy a new laptop

    Thank you.
    JP.

I find my title quite funny after reading my question
    ( tech wizard) hum....

    Thank you feedback.
Yes I know, I have to buy one, still have to wait couple of months.
But just knowing that it is possible to swap without loosing everything, make me happy. Just have to try it again and analyze how thing work, step by step.

    Hello again, feedback.
As you probably notice, English is not my mother language. I have some difficulties to find the right word, anyway.
I think that your first solution would be the best for me, because of the play list and crate that I do when I prepare a gig and I work in the room that I like to call my studio.
I will try to keep thing simple, the following address from native was my way of doing the swap...didn't work for me.
    http://www.native-instruments.com/en...er-to-another/

To make it short, I'm going to use your advice next time I'll use my Laptop in a gig( testing that everything work well, before diving). The last two gigs I use my desktop with a 24" screen, the S4, Akai apc40, F1. Good thing I had a lot of space...

Thank you again Feedback for your time.
