Default Knobs and faders deliveries in the UK.

Sorry wasn't enitrely sure where to put this thread, move it if necessary!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone from the UK had recieved the new green/white faders and knobs in the post? I'm asking because the postal strike has been confirmed in the UK starting next thursday, and was really hoping that it would arrive before then.

I ordered mine on the day they were released which was just over a week ago so thinking I might hopefully have given enough time for the stuff to get here.

Shipping was $6.15 so thats like £3 or something? Pretty cheap, but i get the feeling i'm going to be waiting a looooooooooong time to get my stuff Stupid royal mail.

If you ordered now you'd definately get caught up in the strike though.

Can DJTTs not post out using UPS or Fedex and avoid Royal Mail.

YES!, just got everything delivered after 10 days of waiting. I've updated my firmware, and put on a full set of white knobs and faders.

The 1.3 firmware is the best thing ever, i didnt realise how much better it was going to be. I just wanted that annoying 4th effect button fixed

Thanks for the midi fighter sticker too

says they use UPS on the store page so just ordered some white ones, can't see the postal strike being an problem on that basis, and the nearest UPS depot is only an hour or so away if things do get f'd over by postman pat and his strike actions.

Nah it's USPS (almost the same as UPS lol), which i assume is the united staes postal service? They use Parcel force in the UK it turns out. So the strike didn't affect my delivery in the end.

A postal service strike? Meh. Try a power company strike with very knowledgeable saboteurs throwing chains to substations cables crossing them and making them explode like firecrackers. These are crazy times...
