    Default Djm 600

Ok so it's payday in a few days and I'm thinking about buying a djm 600. Played on one in the past, think they're a decent piece of equipment as my current mixer has past its time. I can pick up a 600 for around £300 however is there anything else around £300 that I should check out before I buy?

The 600 is a solid mixer. I had one for a while and liked it a lot.

I'd take a look at the new Behringer mixers (NOX & DDM). Both will give you a LOT of mixer for £300.

You might want to consider upgrading to the DJM 700, for the better FX (+filter) and EQs that don't clip so easily. Overall sound quality should be a good step up on the 700 too.

No doubt a decent mixer but if you got studio monitors it's quite hissy... Tbh the sound quality isn't up to what you can get from newer digital mixers. Id try and get djm 700 too. Or maybe an Allen and Heath 42 if I was gonna go 2nd hand analogue

What are you playing from? Computer, decks, turn-tables?
