Default Ultimate DJ by Simon Cowell now a go, with partnership from SFX and T Mobile

If people remember some time back, there was talk of there being a dj competition show kind of like X Factor and stuff but it never actually went through. Well It seem like it is something that will actually happen no since SFX is getting involved and also T Mobile.

    Its a long read

i am hugely interested in this. I wonder how contestants will go about getting picked. Feel like this might bring around the next biggie.

Bummer, I thought this piece of "already jumped the shark" tripe had died on the vine. They should probably change the name to The Ultimate Douchebag as that's about all it'll produce come the finale.

Well it will be as much about DJ'ing as all the other Simon Cowell programs are about talent/singing. As in Zilch.

It's just a platform for a drama crazy show that makes him money. It'll progress onto tiddlywinks and lawn darts after this.

its just gonna turn into a DMC show.

To the common man "good dj'ing" is all about scratching and cool tricks and stuff. A-trak would kill it, but somebody like Ritchie Hawtin would lose people.

    Its all bullshit

(for the record, i just saw A-Trak at a festival 2 days ago, and he was by far the best technical dj there!!)
