Urgent traktor query (gig tommorow)

Having Some Issue with my Traktor Kontorl F1, Have posted about it in this thread here : http://forum.djtechtools.com/showthread.php?t=82022

Anyway, After a lot of research I guess its a software/driver glitch. Unfortunately the F! Driver comes pre-installed with Traktor so no way for re-installing drivers. Anyway I want to uninstall traktor & re-install it. Would there be any issue with the serial number & stuff not working for the second time. Has anyone tried it ? I definitely dont want any risks since I got a gig tommorow. You guys think I could go ahead uninstall it & re-install it without any hitches ?

You should have no issues with your serial numbers working. Just make sure you back up your collection.nml file and traktor folders.
