    Default Microphone question

Hey, so this guy I know is selling me a shure wireless mic system. The problem is I don't really know much about mics, my setup consists of a mixtrack pro routed directly to powered speakers. My question is how would I go about incorporating the wireless mic system into my setup. Would I have to buy an external mixer such as a Behringer XENYX or could I just hook it up straight to the mic input on the front of the mixtack pro.

I attached a picture of the system if it is of any help. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks

You need to make sure the wireless receiver has a microphone-level output. This is usually the XLR output on Shure systems.

You'll also need an XLR(female) to TRS(male) cable to connect the wireless receiver to the Mixtrack.
