for those who do compuer based dj'ing

do any of you use a media controller like the Pioneer SEP-C1 as a media controller with your vestax vc-100 or other mixer? or do you use only your mixer for everything?

Most people here if they are using any accessories with their VCI-100 are using a trigger-finger/MPC/Maschine or other pad controller, some use stuff like an SCS3d (like me), or even a novation nocturn.

A few people use CDJ's like the one your talking about to use timecode cd's which give a better jog/pitchfader performance.

what do they use the controller pad for specifically?

to trigger fx's, cue points, control decks c & d. but can be used for different uses that individual dj can think of.
