Default Digging for some diety Techno, help me dig :)

    Hey guys

I'm searching for this style of techno for my upcoming gig. If you know similar tracks, labels, playlists or blogs please throw it at me

    Thank you

    Hello, I'm Nobody,

That's a bunch of fairly disparate Techno you've got there - Not sure I'd call any of it Dirty Techno (unless you really did mean Diety). You want similar stuff to Truncate? Try Rodhad or Rrose or, hell, a whole bunch of stuff - it's pretty plentiful these days. Check out other Dystopian releases. perhaps some Geigling stuff.

As for Landstrumm, I suppose you could look out for banging old school Techno. How about early Surgeon, or Regis? Paul Birken always puts me in a similar frame of mind as Landstrumm. Maybe some Adam X or Frankie Bones from way back.

The problem, though, in sticking an Aubrey track up there and asking for similar suggestions is that there aren't any. Aubrey has no peers. There is just Aubrey and He is brilliant. Just buy Aubrey stuff.

Alternatively, read my blog, choose a record I've reviewed and play that. A lot of it should fit the bill. I've got awesome taste so it's all gold..

Stuff like the Truncate track can be found on labels like Affin, Hypnotic Room, Translucent, Gynoid Audio, Ostgut Ton, 50Weapons, Token, etc.

If you're in a rush or something, Gynoid Audio recently released some compilations, 50Weapons had a recent compilation that was pretty good, and Affin has their Layer series.

As for Landstrumm, the best label to check would be Tresor.

"Dirty" to me implies more along the lines of industrial techno...stuff like Stroboscopic Artefacts. Or if you're really in the mood for punishment, Perc Trax.
